MSIA Presidency Update -- August 2024

It is summer in Los Angeles, and we are all staying cool, enjoying the California sunshine. John Morton and Leigh are back from Madrid where they participated in the Insight 4 training. They will be back in Europe in the fall after a visit to Kalamazoo at the end of August.

It is a good time to remind you that Living in Grace is on the calendar for December 9 to 15 this year. The weeklong retreat is always such a great way to end the year and get ready for the next one. For in-person participation, you can take advantage of the Early Bird registration by registering by August 29. Get more details here or go to PTS.org.

There are so many events happening every month with Heartfelt. If you aren’t already on the email list, you can go to the Heartfelt website or the MSIA.org student dashboard subscription page to sign up. There are Community Zoom Gatherings, Light & Wellness Gatherings, Navigating Aging with Dr. Cheryl, Monthly Healing Prayers, Death Café, and Worldwide House Blessings (once every three months). Check out the Heartfelt calendar for times and details! Also, if you are not currently receiving the HeartReach Bulletin or participating as a volunteer for the Global Circle of Light, please contact light@heartfelt.org and request information.

Lots of things are progressing at MSIA. The PTS.org website continues to evolve and expand. The work on the front landscaping of MSIA’s Villa de la Paz Apartments next door to Prana is going well and we hope to share some beautiful images with you next month as we near completion.

Windermere just held a wonderful work party at the bunkhouse with the Insight teens and the latest edition of the Windermere Newsletter “Meanwhile Up at the Ranch” was delightful. The next Work Party: Windermere Barn Clean-Out, Episode 3 will be happening on August 17 and 18. You can RSVP here if you are interested.
