Education vs. Can You Do It TWI Premium
TWI Premium
Here is one of those seminars filled with John-Roger “folklore.” J-R discusses education and how he learned some of his greatest lessons from his Dad. There’s a particularly poignant (and funny) story of how he arranged for one of his college graduate friends to apply for a job where J-R’s dynamic Dad — a sixth grade graduate — did the hiring. Part of the learning is that you don’t necessarily need a formal education yourself if you’re smart enough to use the resources at hand. Looking back at his own college days, J-R says he learned that “The only thing that was of ever of value in life is what I could do, not what I had done.”
During the seminar, J-R shares how to turn hurts into opportunities for upliftment, and reminds us of the golden rule – to be loving.
