“Human beings are very conceited, like they know it all.” This is how John-Roger begins this seminar which was given over forty years ago but could not be more useful in this day of blogs and tweets of opinion.
“If your belief is based upon some form of unexamined superstition, then you’ll find yourself getting shook inside when someone else presents a theory that is not compatible with what you believe.” Sound familiar? “But if your belief is based upon knowledge and experience, then there’ll be no disturbance,” J-R goes on to say.
Within the seminar, John-Roger speaks about intangibles in life, like ‘God’ and ‘The Light.’ They relate to those questions we ask ourselves, such as, ‘Why am I here on this planet?’ or ‘What is my purpose in life?’ or ‘Am I really doing the right thing for me?’ And of course, there is an answer…from within.
The sweet meditation that ends the seminar is for the purpose, J-R says, “Of showing you what’s going on.”
