Listening is the attitude of the one who sits at the feet of the master waiting, patiently waiting, while also presenting the attitude and posture of I am open, I am willing, I am here past all challenges. Listening is breathing in and holding in the silence. The inner ear is located in the silence. Be silent as you also give your fullest attention while breathing out.
