We have to stay detached and unconditioned. If we do not, then we assign ourselves to our attachments and conditions. How long? As long as we assign ourselves. At some point we will realize it is unnecessary to do that. It is dumb. We realize, "I know better. I can do better. I see the better." Then we demonstrate that by our choices.-John Morton, DSS
